The best support for shifting on the market! The most significant weak point of the 02M and 02Q gearboxes is the fourth gear.
In the case of high torque, the input shaft may oscillate and be pushed back by the opposing shafts, preventing the fourth gear wheel pair from engaging properly.
Consequence: the fourth gear breaks!
The gear support works as follows:
Thanks to an aluminum housing fixed from the outside, a brass sleeve is pressed against the shaft using a screw. This creates a smooth bearing between the brass sleeve and the input shaft.
The preload is freely adjustable.
